Refund & Access Policy

Last updated: 5 July 2026

This policy is issued by PASSPATH (PTY) LTD (Registration No. 2026/517551/07) and forms part of our Terms & Conditions. The short version: you get 7 days to change your mind before you start the course, 180 days of access once you do, and a full refund any time something is genuinely our fault.

1. What you’re buying

Each course is a once-off purchase. There is no subscription and no recurring billing. The price you see at checkout is everything you pay, and it includes:

  • 180 days of access to your chosen course, from the date of purchase;
  • all the practice questions, mock exams, and readiness tools in that course.

Access is personal and non-transferable — it is for you, on your account only. Nothing is added at checkout: no VAT (we are not VAT registered), no fees, no renewal.

2. 7-day money-back (cooling-off)

You get a full refund if you ask within 7 days of purchase and you have not meaningfully accessed the course content. This is your cooling-off right under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

“Meaningfully accessed” means opening lessons, practice questions, or mock exams beyond any free preview. Merely logging in or viewing your dashboard does not count as use — you can look around without losing your refund right.

3. After you’ve started the course

Once you have accessed the course content, no refund is available. The legal cooling-off right ends when you start using a digital service with your consent — and by opening the course material, you give that consent.

This is why we offer a free readiness check before you buy: so you can see how PassPath works before spending anything.

4. If something is genuinely wrong

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act. If the platform is materially defective or not as described — for example, you paid but the course will not load, and we cannot fix it — you get a refund, no matter how much of the course you have used. Tell us what is wrong and give us a reasonable chance to put it right; if we cannot, we refund you.

An unsuccessful exam attempt is not a defect. PassPath helps you prepare, but your result depends on your own preparation and performance on the day.

5. When access ends

Your access expires 180 days after purchase, automatically and with no further charge. There are no partial refunds for unused time — the price is for the access period, however much of it you use. If your course expires and you need more time, you can purchase it again at the then-current price.

6. Duplicate or failed payments

If you are charged twice for the same course, or you pay and the access is never delivered, we refund the duplicate or failed payment in full — no questions asked. Just send us the payment reference or a screenshot of the charge so we can find it quickly.

7. How to request a refund

To request a refund:

  • email support@passpath.co.za from the email address you purchased with;
  • include the course name and the reason for the request.

We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed through PayFast back to your original payment method — within 30 days at the latest, and normally much faster. Once we have sent the refund, your bank may take a few extra days to show it.

8. Account termination

If we close your account for breach of the Terms & Conditions — for example, account sharing or copying content — no refund is given.

9. Still not resolved?

If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may refer it to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (www.cgso.org.za).
